■ Zero-Ten Park CEBUについて

ZeroTen Philippines Inc.が運営するZero-Ten Park CEBU（旧 The Company CEBU）では、コワーキングスペース、セミプライベートおよびプライベートオフィス、家具付きオフィス、さらにはオンデマンドオフィスなど、さまざまなサービスを提供しています。また、バーチャルオフィス、EOR＆PEOサービス、採用サービスも提供しています。

Zero-Ten Parkグループとして初めての海外店舗展開となったZero-Ten Park CEBUは、かなりの成功を収めています。最初の支店は2017年に開業したZero-Ten Park CABU MANDAUE店。その後2019年に2店舗目となるIT PARK店を開業しました。2022年には IT PARK店のオフィスフロアを拡張し、それ以降も着実に成長しています。

Zero-Ten Park CEBU, operated by ZeroTen Philippines Inc., offers various services such as coworking spaces, semi-private and private offices, furnished offices, and on-demand offices. Additionally, they provide virtual office, EOR & PEO services, and recruitment services.

Zero-Ten Park CEBU, which marked the first overseas expansion under the name Zero-Ten Park, has achieved significant success. The first branch, Zero-Ten Park CEBU Mandaue branch, opened in 2017. Subsequently, the second branch, IT PARK branch, opened in 2019. In 2022, the office floor of the IT PARK branch was expanded, and Zero-Ten Park has been steadily growing since then.

■ なぜセブでコワーキングスペースを立ち上げることになったのですか？

「Zero-Ten Park」は、日本だけでなく海外にもそのビジネスネットワークを広げ、それを入居者に提供することを目的にしているので、日本に拠点を置くだけでは不十分でした。初の海外店舗展開先にフィリピンを選んだのは、創業者チームがすでに現地での豊富な知識経験、多くのつながり、地元の友人、信頼できる個人を持っていたためです。

Zero-Ten Park aimed to expand its business network not only in Japan but also overseas, with the intention of providing it to its tenants. Therefore, relying solely on a base in Japan was insufficient. The choice of the Philippines as the first destination for overseas expansion was due to the founder team already possessing extensive local knowledge, experience, numerous connections, local friends, and trustworthy individuals in the area.

■ 現地と日本のチームで、普段どのように仕事を進めていますか？

ZeroTen Philippines Inc.はZero-Ten Parkグループの一部であるため、積極的に複数のプロジェクトで協力しています。私たちは日本の企業がフィリピンへ事業展開をする際、現地のチームとのビジネスマッチングサポートを行っています。また日本からスタッフを派遣し、言語面でのサポートや定期面談などによって、そのプロジェクトが自走できるまで伴走しています。

As part of the Zero-Ten Park group, ZeroTen Philippines Inc. actively collaborates on multiple projects. We provide business matching support between Japanese companies expanding into the Philippines and local teams. Additionally, we assign a staff from Japan and provide support in terms of language and regular meetings, accompanying the project until it can operate independently.

■ 日本とフィリピンとの共同チームで働くことの良いことと大変なことを教えてください

日本国内だけでは実現しないような多種多様なプロジェクトがあることや、多様性あるメンバーが集まることによってより多くの意見が得られること、日本と海外を繋ぐ大規模なネットワークのおかげで、より多くの機会や環境に恵まれることなどが良い点です。

ただ言葉の壁や文化の違い、仕事に対する考え方や定義の違い、労働習慣やダイナミクスなどはやはり国によって大きく異なるため、その相互理解が大変だと思います。

There are many advantages to having diverse projects that cannot be realized within Japan alone, as well as the gathering of diverse members leading to a greater variety of opinions. Thanks to extensive networks connecting Japan with other countries, there are more opportunities and challenges available. However, differences in language, culture, perspectives on work, definitions, labor practices, and dynamics still vary significantly between countries, making mutual understanding challenging.

■ Zero-Ten Park CEBUで働いていて、最も印象深かったことは何でしょうか？

COVIDでコワーキングの運営ができなかった時期は、経営的に厳しい状況に陥りました。また2021年、フィリピンに大型の台風が上陸した時には街中のインフラが崩壊し、フィリピンの人々の生活が脅かされる困難な状況にもなりました。私たちは入居者だけでなく、周辺に住む人々に「Zero-Ten Park」のオフィスを避難場所として提供したり、互いに協力し合うことで困難を乗り越えてきました。

私たちには特別なことは何もありませんが、様々な人が互いに協力し合うことで、いつも特別なものを作り出しています。

Odette, covid etc. We’ve been able to stay committed and consistent with our visions even through all of this. Steady growth. A great balance for all staff and great opportunities to all Filippino. Services SMEs but also very large corp.

We could deal with all size successfully. No business people involved in actually creating Zero-Ten Park. There’s nothing special about us yet we created something special.

■ Zero-Ten Parkとはどんな会社ですか？

私たちの代表はクリエイティビティやアートに造詣が深い人物なので、働く人たちも表現力が豊かな人や奇抜な人が自然と集まっています。それぞれが協力、関係し合うことによって、様々なクリエイティビティを生み出しているのだと思います。

「Zero-Ten Park」にも様々なメンバーが集まっていますが、そこに集まった企業同士が相互に協力し合うことで様々なプロジェクトを新たに生み出してきました。Zero-Ten Parkはそれぞれを繋ぎ、的確にリードすることで、より大きな事業の成功に導くことができる会社ですね。

Our representative is deeply knowledgeable about creativity and art, so naturally, people who are expressive and unconventional gather to work with us. Through collaboration and mutual relationships, we believe we generate unique forms of creativity.

Zero-Ten Park also gathers diverse members, and through the mutual cooperation among them, we have created various new projects. Zero-Ten Park is a company that connects and leads each of them accurately, which can lead to greater success in business endeavors.

■ 今後、セブのコワーキングスペースをどのようにしていきたいですか？

私たちのミッションは、人々がつながり、ネットワークを築く機会を得るワークスペースを提供することによって、中小企業やスタートアップの成長を支援することです。また同時に、他の企業や産業と密接に関わることによって、誰もが利益を得られるエコシステムを作り出すことを目指しています。

コミュニティ、テクノロジー、アートを中心に支援し、より多くの都市、より国際的なネットワーキングを築くことによって、フィリピンの人々のQOL（生活の質）を向上させたいです。

Our mission is to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and startups by providing a workspace where people can connect and build networks. At the same time, we aim to create an ecosystem where everyone benefits by closely engaging with other companies and industries.

By focusing on community, technology, and art, and building more urban and international networking, we aspire to enhance the quality of life in the Philippines.

■ 福岡からセブへ進出していかがでしたか？

私たちの会社は、福岡からセブへのビジネス展開をスムーズに進めることができました。「Zero-Ten Park」の提供するコワーキングスペースのおかげで、新しい市場への進出が非常に効率的かつ柔軟に対応できるようになりました。セブ市内の中心に位置する「Zero-Ten Park」の施設は、現地のビジネスコミュニティや様々な業界のプロフェッショナルズとのネットワーキングに最適であり、当社の事業拡大に不可欠でした。

■ 今の事業内容を教えてください。

私たちの会社は、テクノロジーとアウトソーシングサービスを提供する企業で、特にWeb開発、アプリ開発、DXコンサルティングの分野で幅広いサービスを提供しています。セブに拠点を置くことで、高い技術力を持つエンジニアを確保し、国際的なクライアントに対しても高品質なサービスを提供しています。
